Video Editor Intern (Paid) Jobs in Lahore | Cogent Labs

Cogent Labs is looking for a fresh graduate to join as a Video Editor Intern. You will edit personal brand content, including YouTube videos, podcasts, short-form reels, ads, project videos, and company videos. This is a 3-month paid internship, and strong performers will be offered a full-time role at the end.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging long-form and short-form videos
• Cut podcasts and YouTube videos into short clips for social media
• Apply color grading, audio treatment, and captions
• Follow the brand’s editing style, caption style, and file naming conventions
• Take feedback and turn around revisions quickly
• Export and deliver final files in the required formats
• Organize and back up media files
• Hand off files to the marketing and content team on time

Requirements

• Fresh graduate with working knowledge of video editing: cutting, pacing, sequencing, and storytelling
• Comfortable in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (the team uses both)
• Experience editing short-form vertical video (Reels, Shorts) with hook-first, retention-driven pacing
• Basic audio treatment skills: noise reduction, leveling, and mixing
• Basic color correction and grading
• Ability to add captions, on-screen text, B-roll, music, and sound effects
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail, good time management, and punctuality
• A portfolio or showreel of your editing work
