About the role

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated ASP.NET Developer to join our development team in Lahore. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience building web applications with the Microsoft .NET technology stack, a good understanding of relational databases, and strong English communication skills. You will design, develop, test, and maintain reliable, scalable applications that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET, C#, and VB.NET
Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code
Build and manage data access layers using ADO.NET
Develop interactive, responsive front-end functionality using JavaScript and jQuery
Design, create, and optimize relational databases, queries, stored procedures, and other database objects in SQL Server and SQLite
Work on applications built on .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0, including maintaining and upgrading existing systems
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Collaborate with team members, project managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions on schedule
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities
Communicate project progress, challenges, and technical details clearly, both in writing and verbally

Required Skills and Qualifications

Technical Skills

Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, and ADO.NET
Practical experience with .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.0
Good knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
Strong working knowledge of SQL Server and SQLite
Familiarity with relational database design and development (SQL Server and SQLite preferred)
Experience using Visual Studio .NET as the primary development environment
