SaaS Integration Engineer Job (USA) at Atlassian | Remote

Atlassian is looking for an engineer to connect and optimize its enterprise SaaS tools. You’ll build integrations and automations, resolve complex app issues, manage vendors and licensing, and turn business requests into clear technical requirements for IT and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom integrations, middleware, and webhooks connecting third-party SaaS tools (e.g., Atlassian/JSM, enterprise AI tools, developer software) with internal systems
• Partner with SAM/HAM, DevInfra, and procurement teams to evaluate new software requests, track usage metrics, and streamline the enterprise SaaS footprint
• Write scripts and build data pipelines to automate end-user provisioning, budget/wallet token allocations, and cross-platform data syncs
• Act as the primary technical contact for complex app integrations, resolving system failures with external vendors and internal IT teams
• Manage third-party software vendors, negotiate support contracts, and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Track software licensing compliance, seat utilization, and cost-center budgets
• Translate business department requests into actionable technical requirements for IT and development teams
