The TikTok Shop US Operations team is hiring a Merchant Growth Intern for Summer 2027 to help scale creator-driven e-commerce. In this hands-on 12-week role, you will acquire, onboard, and incubate new merchants to drive category growth. Operating with a consultative approach, you will guide brand partners on content strategy, creator/affiliate partnerships, merchandising, platform product updates, and promotional campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Acquisition & Incubation: Identify, acquire, and incubate target merchants to support strategic e-commerce category expansion goals.
Strategic Partnership Models: Explore innovative collaborative models aligned with merchants' short- and long-term business plans, investing platform resources effectively.
Consultative Business Support: Consult brand partners on shoppable content strategies, creator/agency/affiliate matches, merchandising plans, and logistical solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Solve complex business growth bottlenecks through close alignment with cross-functional product, marketing, and operations teams.
Merchant Enablement: Educate clients on new TikTok Shop product features, feature rollouts, and promotional event opportunities.

Requirements

Academic & Program Eligibility

Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program.
Must be available to commit to a full-time, 12-week internship during Summer 2027.

Preferred Qualifications
