Business Systems & AI Solutions Intern | Leidos | US Navy

The SMIT Marine Corps & OCONUS (MC&O) team is seeking a Business Systems & AI Solutions Intern to support automation and process improvement as part of the US Navy SMIT MC&O team. You will work directly with MC&O leadership and cross-functional teams to enhance and integrate internal tools, streamline workflows, and use AI to automate manual processes where applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and integrate reporting tools, automation, and AI
• Maintain and enhance internally developed tools
• Develop or support tools that analyze data to identify similar or analogous tasks
• Conduct targeted research on technical services to support automation

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and macros
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task, self-assign work, and operate in a fast-paced proposal environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• US citizenship, with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance as a condition of employment
