Junior Python / Django Backend Engineer (Entry Level)

Role Overview

This position is tailored for entry-level backend engineers who want to focus on web application development, API creation, and server-side logic using Python and Django.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend web services using Python and the Django Framework.
• Design RESTful APIs for web and mobile front-end integration.
• Optimize database queries and schema designs (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Debug, troubleshoot, and fix application issues under the guidance of senior developers.

Mandatory & Core Requirements

• Final Year Project (FYP): Must have developed a Final Year Project using Django.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BSCS), Software Engineering (BSSE), or Information Technology (BSIT).
• Technical Skills:
  • Fundamental understanding of Python and Django architecture (ORM, views, templates, signals).
  • Familiarity with database management and SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of Git/version control systems and REST APIs.
