Software Development Manager - Digital Banking & .NET

About the Role

VeriPark is seeking an experienced, high-impact Software Development Manager to join our team in a key leadership role. You will oversee technical delivery, lead high-performing engineering teams, and drive the execution of complex enterprise banking software solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader with deep domain expertise in digital banking products and a strong foundation in modern Microsoft .NET and Angular architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Technical Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional software engineering teams delivering mission-critical banking products.
• Provide technical direction and architectural oversight for enterprise web and backend applications built on .NET / .NET Core and Angular.
• Ensure high standards of software quality, maintainability, security, and performance across all product modules.
• Drive best practices in continuous integration, automated testing, code reviews, and DevOps workflows.

Product Delivery & Project Management

• Manage end-to-end product delivery cycles using Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring milestone achievement and timely release dates.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Delivery Managers to align technical roadmaps with business objectives.
• Identify project risks early, resolve technical bottlenecks, and manage resources efficiently across multiple projects.

People & Team Management

• Foster a continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration culture within the engineering unit.
• Set team performance goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and guide engineers in their professional development.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard top-tier engineering talent.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of total experience in software development, with 3+ years in a leadership/management role (e.g., Software Development Manager, Engineering Lead, or Technical Lead).
• Domain Expertise: Proven track record in delivering Banking Products, FinTech, or large-scale financial software systems.
• Core Tech Stack:
  • Backend: Advanced proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, Microservices architecture, and Entity Framework.
  • Frontend: Strong hands-on knowledge of Angular (modern versions), TypeScript, RxJS, and enterprise UI patterns.
  • Database: Deep experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data layer design.
• Methodologies: Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery framework and SDLC lifecycle management.
• Soft Skills: Excellent command of English (written and verbal), strong stakeholder management capabilities, problem-solving mindset, and decisive leadership.
