About the role

Squarespace is a design-driven platform helping entrepreneurs build brands and businesses online. As one of the world's largest domain registrars, millions of customers trust Squarespace with their online brand identity.

As the Senior Product Manager for Domains Monetization, you will own the product strategy, capabilities, and roadmap that enable Squarespace Domains to capture commercial opportunities and accelerate revenue. Working in close partnership with the Commercial, Engineering, Design, and Growth teams, you will translate commercial priorities—including Premium domains, aftermarket sales and auctions, domain expiry workflows, and dynamic pricing—into scalable product features, conversion experiments, and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monetization Product Roadmap: Own and execute the product roadmap across Premium domains, aftermarket sales, auctions, and domain expiry, aligning commercial goals with high-impact product capabilities.
  • Commercial & Pricing Alignment: Partner closely with Commercial leadership to convert pricing structures, promotional packaging, and monetization programs into clear technical requirements and conversion experiments.
  • Opportunity Discovery: Leverage quantitative analytics, user insights, and unit economics data to identify new monetization avenues and optimize existing domain purchase funnels.
  • End-to-End Product Lifecycle: Lead product discovery and delivery in collaboration with Design and Engineering—defining problem statements, evaluating technical tradeoffs, and prioritizing sprint investments.
  • Metrics & Optimization: Establish success metrics (conversion rates, LTV, retention, revenue per user), build event instrumentation, and conduct post-launch analyses to inform future product strategy.

Requirements

Experience & Functional Background

  • 6+ years of product management experience (or equivalent), with a proven track record of shipping commercial, marketplace, or growth-oriented software products.
  • Hands-on experience leading products focused on pricing strategy, unit economics, conversion optimization, marketplace dynamics, or subscription monetization.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with deep familiarity in tracking LTV, CAC, retention metrics, and funnel conversion performance.

Mindset & Soft Skills

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and translate high-level business objectives into concrete product roadmaps and execution plans.
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills, with a track record of influencing stakeholders across Commercial, Engineering, and Design.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Cash Compensation: Base salary range of $140,500 – $247,250 USD (commensurate with skills, experience, and geographic location).
  • Equity: Eligible for company stock options.
  • Workplace Choice: Flexible working arrangement with the choice of working hybrid at New York City headquarters or 100% remotely within the United States.
