Software QA Engineer Jobs in Wapda Town, Lahore | Folium AI

Folium AI is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of its software products. The ideal candidate has strong manual testing skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to spot potential issues beyond standard use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, user stories, and designs to identify gaps and potential risks
• Design comprehensive test cases covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge-case scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, exploratory, and cross-browser testing
• Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Report, track, and follow up on bugs until resolution
• Prepare test plans, test reports, and QA documentation
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to improve product quality
• Conduct root-cause analysis and contribute to continuous QA process improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 1.5-3 years of professional software QA experience
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and software testing methodologies
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case design techniques
• Experience with at least one automation framework, such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress
• Scripting knowledge in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
• Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps and basic SQL queries
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP status codes, browser developer tools, and debugging techniques
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
