About the role

GE Vernova Financial Services is looking for a tax professional to lead international tax planning for its multi-jurisdictional investment vehicles, joint ventures, and project and corporate finance structures. These support investments in U.S. and international renewable energy, power generation, and grid infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide tax support and structural planning for international and US transactions.
  • Handle M&A and dispositions, including structuring, document review, and tax due diligence.
  • Identify and assess tax risks and opportunities in deal models.
  • Own the tax aspects of transaction agreements and related documents.
  • Work with other GE Vernova tax teams on cross-business transactions and investment projects.
  • Support treasury and finance on transfer pricing, withholding tax, and repatriation planning.
  • Monitor the impact of evolving international tax rules (BEPS Pillar Two, OECD guidelines) on investment structures.
  • Supervise external tax advisors while driving initiatives independently.

Technical skills:

  • US corporate and international tax planning
  • Project finance, structured transactions, financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis
  • Pillar 2, GILTI, Subpart F, partnership taxation, and tax credits
  • Restructuring and M&A
  • Reviewing Excel deal models
  • Researching and writing legal and tax memoranda
