Integration Solutions Architect - Workday & APIs

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Solutions Architect, you will lead and execute customer onboarding and technical delivery across Checkr's Guided API and partner integration programs. In this customer-facing technical role, you will own a high volume of Guided API implementations end-to-end, deploy standardized Workday (HCM/HRIS/ATS) integration patterns, perform payload and database query analysis, and accelerate time-to-value for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End API Implementations: Lead high-volume Guided API customer onboarding projects from initial technical kick-off through production go-live.
• Partner & HRIS Integrations: Deploy Workday, ATS, HCM, and partner integrations using established, repeatable implementation frameworks.
• Technical Guidance & Optimization: Provide responsive technical advisory, payload troubleshooting, and integration optimization for active customers and Customer Success Managers (CSMs).
• Data Querying & Payload Analysis: Write and execute data queries, analyze API payloads, validate system configurations, and confirm solution integrity.
• Architectural Escalations: Identify, document, and escalate complex or high-risk architectural challenges to Senior Solutions Architects and core Product/Engineering teams.
• Standardization & Knowledge Management: Contribute to internal implementation runbooks, developer documentation, and SOPs to drive team efficiency and platform scalability.

Requirements

Experience & Technical Background

• 4+ years of professional experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, technical implementation, or customer-facing technical delivery.
• Strong technical grasp of RESTful APIs, webhooks, JSON structures, and hosted vs. embedded/self-hosted software architectures.
• Hands-on experience delivering or supporting HRIS, HCM, or ATS integrations (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, Lever).
• Demonstrated ability to write and execute basic-to-moderate data queries to troubleshoot technical workflows.

Compensation, Workplace Model & Benefits

• Compensation: $133,000 – $156,000 USD OTE/Base Salary range for Denver, CO (varies by geographic cost of labor) + competitive equity grant.
