Senior Backend Engineer - Node.js, Java & Databases

DigitalTribe is seeking a skilled and proactive Backend Engineer to join our development team in Lahore. In this role, you will design, architect, and maintain robust, high-performance server-side systems and core APIs. You will focus on building scalable architectures, implementing security protocols, optimizing database performance, and collaborating closely with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features for modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

🔹 Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize performance

🔹 Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices

🔹 Integrate third-party services and APIs

🔹 Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver complete features

🔹 Write clean, testable, and well-documented code

Requirements:

✅ Strong expertise in Java or Node.js

✅ Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

✅ Good knowledge of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)

✅ Understanding of system design and microservices concepts

✅ Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
