About the role
MongoDB is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Revenue and Order to Cash (OTC) capabilities. You will work closely with the Group Product Manager, Quote to Cash (QTC), and partner across Finance, Revenue Operations, Sales, Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, and Program Management. The focus is revenue accuracy and timeliness: reducing manual adjustments, strengthening SOX and audit controls, and speeding up time to invoice and cash across the full order-to-cash lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the Revenue/OTC product vision, strategy, roadmap, and release priorities, with revenue accuracy and close efficiency as the north star
- Align the OTC and revenue roadmap with the broader Quote to Cash strategy while owning order-to-cash and revenue processes
- Build deep expertise in NetSuite and the surrounding revenue systems, including billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, order management, contract and subscription data, month-end and quarter-end close, and ERP integrations
- Gather and document business and functional requirements, and turn them into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and an actionable backlog
- Prioritize competing Finance, Revenue Operations, and Sales needs, balancing near-term value with long-term scalability
- Work with stakeholders, engineering, architecture, program management, and implementation partners to evaluate and integrate first- and third-party solutions
- Define success metrics and KPIs, such as billing accuracy, days sales outstanding (DSO), manual journal entry volume, and close cycle time, and measure post-launch outcomes
- Own and improve end-to-end revenue workflows across order capture, billing, collections, renewals, revenue recognition, close, and reporting, including subscription and consumption-based models
- Oversee revenue controls, data definitions, business logic, integrations, and user experience consistency across OTC systems
- Coordinate cross-functional testing, release strategy, change management, training, and adoption
- Find opportunities to improve revenue accuracy, accelerate invoicing and cash collection, reduce billing leakage and manual journal entries, and strengthen auditability and SOX compliance
- Communicate decisions, trade-offs, risks, dependencies, and progress clearly to stakeholders and executives
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant product management experience delivering enterprise business systems and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Strong experience with Order to Cash, Quote to Cash, or adjacent revenue and finance processes, especially order-to-cash and revenue recognition
- Hands-on understanding of NetSuite-based billing and revenue operations, accounts receivable, collections, close processes, order management, subscription and contract data, and ERP integrations
- Solid understanding of Finance operations, revenue accounting, billing controls, and SOX/audit requirements
- Experience as a Product Owner or equivalent with Agile/Scrum teams
- Strong data analysis skills, including defining revenue and close-related KPIs to drive prioritization
- Experience managing complex integrations, data models, business rules, and dependencies across enterprise revenue platforms
