SQA Engineer Job in Islamabad | OneScreen Solutions Hiring

OneScreen Solutions is looking for a motivated SQA Engineer with a strong understanding of manual testing, test case design and defect management. Hands-on experience or working knowledge of test automation with Playwright is also needed. You will help ensure that the software meets functional requirements and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Manual Testing

• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications and user stories
• Design, develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration and exploratory testing
• Identify, document, track and verify defects using Jira or similar tools
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform and UI/UX testing

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright
• Automate critical user flows and repetitive regression scenarios
• Execute automated test suites and analyze execution reports
• Identify, troubleshoot and report automation failures
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and automation coverage

API & Additional Testing

• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools
• Validate API responses, status codes, request parameters and data integrity
• Perform basic database validation using SQL
• Conduct basic performance and usability testing where required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field
• At least 1+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC and software testing methodologies
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
