About the role
Education is central to CrossFit’s global identity and community. From foundational Level 1 Certificate Courses to specialized credentialing and continuing education for affiliate owners and coaches, CrossFit’s education offerings power fitness leadership worldwide.
As the Senior Product Manager for Education, you will serve as the dedicated product lead for CrossFit’s Education line of business. In this high-ownership individual contributor role, you will define and execute the product strategy spanning the entire learner journey—including course registration, content authoring, learning management systems (LMS), delivery platforms, and credentialing. You will modernize an older, layered stack of in-house software and vendor tools, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, and Education leadership to balance foundational technical fixes with high-impact growth experiments.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for CrossFit’s Education line of business, setting clear KPIs aligned with overall company growth goals.
- End-to-End Execution: Lead the product lifecycle from initial discovery and problem validation through development, launch, adoption tracking, and continuous iteration.
- Platform Modernization & Architecture: Evaluate build, buy, modernize, or replace choices across legacy LMS platforms and vendor tools—navigating technical dependencies, migration costs, and data integrations.
- Learner Experience & Growth Funnels: Optimize course registration, checkout flows, content delivery, and credentialing; design experiments to drive learner acquisition, course completion, conversion, and retention.
- Instrumentation & Funnel Measurement: Establish robust analytics and instrumentation to measure enrollment, course completion rates, conversion funnels, and revenue per learner across fragmented systems.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership: Serve as the primary product partner to Education business leaders and instructors; align roadmap priorities, dependencies, and trade-offs with adjacent product teams (e.g., mobile app leads).
- AI-Accelerated Workflows: Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) fluently in daily product workflows to accelerate discovery, requirements writing, user feedback analysis, and delivery.
Requirements
Product Management & EdTech/Growth Depth
- 7+ years of progressive digital product management experience (or 10+ years for Principal consideration) with demonstrated ownership of digital platforms or consumer-facing products.
- Domain & Functional Expertise:
- EdTech Depth: Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS), content authoring, online course delivery, credentialing frameworks, and learner-facing software; AND/OR
- Growth Product Depth: Extensive experience with funnel analysis, A/B testing, user acquisition, activation, conversion rate optimization, and retention loops. (Depth in both EdTech and Growth is ideal).
- Proven track record navigating legacy software stacks, vendor tool integrations, and fragmented data environments while making disciplined technical and migration trade-offs.
- Excellent quantitative fluency—ability to define meaningful conversion and learning metrics and build analytics visibility where data is currently incomplete.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with a habit of using data and clear communication to say "no" constructively while preserving stakeholder alignment.
Technical & AI Fluency
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices and experience partnering closely with Engineering and Design leads.

- Experience with lifecycle marketing, CRM automation, and personalization tooling (e.g., Braze, Segment).
- Background with consumer, subscription, marketplace, or community-driven digital platforms.
Total Rewards & Benefits
- Compensation: Competitive base salary + equity eligibility + performance bonus program.
- Healthcare & Wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options; complimentary CrossFit affiliation/membership perks.
